It's hard to believe that we have just over two months left in our Altrusa year! We have accomplished a lot to serve our community, but we aren't done yet!
If you didn't make it to Kids Against Hunger on Saturday, you missed a very fun time. Altrusans, their families and ASTRA students all came together and packaged over 10,000 meals! A special thanks to Dana Riegel for organizing this event for our club.
April is always a busy and special month for our club. We celebrate our club's birthday, and we also celebrate one of our favorite days - Altrusan of the Year. If you have not nominated someone for this important honor, please do so! Please send your nominations to Diana Zaremba. More information will be forthcoming about this special day, which will take place as our Program Meeting for April.
Please remind senior high school students and college students that our scholarship applications are due March 31.
Our guest speaker for this month's Program Meeting is Katie McRae with Foster Love. I look forward to hearing about how this organization benefits the foster children in our community.
