Donna Faye Borres has been displace and lost most of her possessions when her apartment flooded. She is currently living with her son. Diane Turner had been recovering from her home being flooded last year when water was released from Toledo Bend Dam. During the Harvey disaster, she lost her truck and her home. She is staying with family and has replaced her vehicle. Vicki Hamilton and her husband lost their home and have been displaced. They have decided to walk away. They are moving to higher ground to rebuild their lives. They have survived two hurricanes…Ike and Harvey. Sue Denosowicz and her mother, Marietta Howington are back in their homes, but lost their family business to flooding. Deborah Mitchell and her husband feel blessed to be able to live in their home. She has been cooking meals and opening her home to anyone would like to stop by for a meal. Gale Beckett, Burneat Paul and Joey Williamson and okay and did not have flooding. As you can see, several of these members are personally devastated and are hurting. You can send them with names attached to them or just as a bundle. This is one way that District Nine Altrusans can help other District Nine Altrusans. These members are not in need of material items at this time as they have no place to put them, but could use generic type cards to help with food, gas and the necessities of life.
