CHAPTER 22:

Dear Altrusans!
Happy Sunday to you all!  The past few weeks we've seen some great celebrations of our wonderful ASTRA clubs and of course the students that are a part of them as the school year is coming to a close.
Salado, Belton, and Lake Belton high schools all had special cording ceremonies hosted by the ASTRA committee. Thanks to Teresa Bowen-Bechtel for your many years of service on the ASTRA committee and thank you to ALL of the wonderful Altrusans on this committee who lead these young men and women so well. The fruits of your labors are absolutely visible and will only continue to cultivate as the years go on.   I've included pictures of each ceremony below and you can find even more posted on our Facebook page. Investing our time and resources into our 4 ASTRA clubs is one of the most powerful ways you can help to Write Our Next Chapter as they are all future leaders of their community wherever that may be!

I shared in the last newsletter a handful of awards that Altrusa Temple received at Conference this year but want to highlight 2 more that I want you to know about:
**First Place - Joella Terrill Butler Award!
Largest gain in membership in 2021-2022
**First Place - Linda Nichols Foundation Award!
Total Club Contribution to Altrusa International Foundation

Be proud Altrusa Temple - you have every right to be! No surprise that this club received recognition both for generosity and strength in numbers! Congratulations!

Chapter Highlights
