Can you believe tomorrow is April 1st---another year is flying by and now we are into another busy Altrusa month. 

We are still looking for recaps on completed projects---need these to Traci so we can complete our year end report for International. We have had some great projects that we need just a quick update on the project & hours for the report. Appreciate all your help with this. 

We now have a monthly workday for 'To the Moon & Back' that you can attend (this Tuesday for April)---this project continues to grow and is such a blessing to the families and nurses. 

Please try to attend the kickoff for our 2019 Taste of the Holidays--'Give Thanks', on April 16th. If you are a new member, this is a great time to hear about committees and all the work that will happen this summer & into the fall and how you can get connected in a special way to our annual fundraiser.  Stay tuned and check out more on the calendar. April & May are busy months and then we will have our Installation Banquet on May 14th and we will begin a new Altrusa year.

If you have friends that are interested in our club, please invite them to a meeting or one of our upcoming projects. We have some new members to initiate in April, but would love to have more join us.

A great time was had by all at the December Senior Bingo----and we will do this project again in February.  Look at all the prizes----thanks Kay and to all your helpers for this great project!

Here is new information on District Conference in April---we will have a great time,  so plan on attending!  More to come, but want everyone to know the time & place so you can 'save the date and make your hotel reservation.

 

One more thing.....The Hotel Block for Conference in April 2019 is open.

  

Below is the link to the hotel to reserve your rooms.  Hotel is Courtyard and Towne Place Suites by Marriott in Grapevine.  Dates are April 26-28, 2019.  Room rates are $119.00.  If you are needing to reserve a handicap room, please do so with the hotel and then let myself and/or Mary Pearson know and we will make sure that the hotel puts a "hard" reserve on your room.  Please share this information with your club members now so they can start to make their reservations.
