Weekly Update--May 19, 2019
This has been a week of celebrations---- first we celebrated our 'Altrusan of the Year' and honored Sherri Woytek. She was surprised of course, and we had a wonderful time celebrating all that she has done for Altrusa Temple and our community. Had a few tears and some laughs, and this honor for Sherri is so well deserved. CONGRATS Sherri!!
 
Tuesday evening we continued our celebrating with our Installation of Officers for 2019-2020. We had a great time at Oscar Store, and now we are all FISH!!! Friends In Service Helping----Carol is all ready for this year and we are so excited.
 
 
Thanks to each of you and your service to our community---and 'Serving through the Seasons, 
I can not thank each of you enough for all the support and help this year. It has truly been a wonderful experience to be President of the Club but could not have done it without all of you. There is no other club in all the land like ALTRUSA of TEMPLE, and I am so blessed to be a part of this.

Altrusa Scholarship Awards
Here are our 9 scholarship recipients for our Altrusa Scholarships. The committee is making the award circuit and handing these out to the students. It is exciting to students from across Bell County. We will also award some of these in our June Program meeting. Congrats to all of these students and thanks to our scholarship committee for all the hard work this year.

Camp Dreamcatcher Workday
Saturday morning the FISH were up early attending one of many workshops for Camp Dreamcatcher.  This is one of our favorite projects and we all had a great time making cabin decorations, memorial necklaces and pins.  Regina Phinney MADE OUR DAY! providing a great spread of sandwiches and cookies.
