It's Time!!!!

We are just 10 days away from Taste of the Holidays! The excitement is building, and before we know it, we will be rolling up our sleeves and turning all those months of planning into one incredible event!

We will be working at the Mayborn Center on Tuesday, November 17, and Wednesday, November 18, leading up to the big event on Thursday, November 19. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Taste Chair, Linda Moore.

We will NOT have a Program Meeting on November 24. Instead, we are trading our meeting agenda for a little celebration at the Taste After Party at the Temple Children's Museum! We will gather as soon as everything is cleaned up and back in storage. The Hospitality Committee will provide snacks and beverages for everyone to enjoy.

This is our time to finally sit down, brag on each other, recognize our Taste Newbies, laugh, and share all those near catastrophes we somehow managed to keep hidden from one another throughout the week! Let's have no paper towels in the greens, no dumpster diving, and please, please, PLEASE don't break the walk-in cooler! Let's try to make it through this Taste without adding any new stories to our collection!

I cannot wait to work alongside each of you, see everyone in action, and continue strengthening the friendships that make our Altrusa family so special. There is a tremendous amount of work that goes into this event, but there is also a tremendous amount of heart. Every member brings something important to the table, and together, we make the magic happen!

And don't forget your white shirt, black pants, Altrusa apron, and COMFORTABLE SHOES! Trust me, your feet will thank you!
