Happy March and Spring Break! Almost time for flowers to bloom & grass to turn green. This Tuesday we have our March Business Meeting and I hope you can make the meeting. I know we will have some members out for spring break, but we have some projects to go before the club for a vote along with the election of officers for next year (list of nominations is below). Below under Downloads you will find the February Minutes and Treasurer Report for review. We also have a Club Policy recommendation from the nomination committee that will be presented at the meeting. **Recommended new policy by the Nominating Committee*** Each year, during the January business meeting, the nominating committee will be created in order to propose a slate of officers for the upcoming year. Three members will serve on the committee. To serve as a member of the nominating committee, you must have served on the Club Board for a minimum of two years. As a member of the nominating committee, you are not allowed to be included in the proposed slate of officers. Nominations for committee members will come from the floor; the three members with the most votes will serve on the committee and the one with the most will serve as chair. Don't forget this is the last week for early registration for conference!
