Hello fellow Altrusans!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS! I hope that you and yours had a wonderful holiday season and that the New Year is all the best for you and your family.
For our Altrusa club..... we are off to a wonderful start to the new year with service projects being proposed, a new member, Joanna Slone will be initiated at Tuesday's business meeting, our on-going literacy project is off to a good start, ASTRA meetings are planned and much more!
At our business meeting on Tuesday, 2 projects will be presented for approval. The proposed projects are attached in this newsletter. (Please note that there are 3 separate documents to the Multifaceted Literacy project):
*Camp Dreamcatcher 2022 - Project coordinator Debbie Fendrick and Co-Coordinator Julie Ruiz
*Multifaceted Literacy for Bell County - Project A - Project coordinator(s)Debbie Mabry, Mary Pearson, Brenda Hill, Sarah Davison, Debbie Fendrick, Sharon Walzel and Michelle DiGaetano.
We will be entertained by the Percussion group singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the members that will be celebrating birthday's in January!
We have received our Altrusa "pop-up" banner! It will be on display at the business meeting on Tuesday! It is super cool looking! Can't wait for everyone to see it!!
One last reminder.... bring a guest this month, for each guest you bring, your name will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a prize! The drawing will take place at the February business meeting!
