President's message from the heart

Hello fellow Altrusans!
Here we are! The month of May, the last month of our “Altrusa Year”. As I go through the items to complete the year as President of this wonderful club, this club that I absolutely love, I am at a loss of words to describe the impact that this club has made this year, in this club, in this community and beyond! I am so proud of you! You should be proud of yourselves! There are even more opportunities to impact our club and community this month!
  • At the Altrusa Business meeting on Tuesday, there will be even more projects to review and vote on.
  • We will have 4 new Altrusans initiated at the 5th Tuesday event on May 31st! Let's give these new Altrusans a fun and warm welcome! And please see the calendar for details on our 5th Tuesday event. You won't want to miss the fun! Come prepared to have your favorite ice cream taste test and see the results!!
  • A representative from Our Lady of Angels Maternity Shelter will join us, we will make a presentation  of items; car seats, diapers, pull-ups and miscellaneous baby items!
  • Monday, May 23rd will be installation of 2022-2023 Altrusa officers, held at The Cellar at Pignetti’s. Let’s support our incoming President, Tara Stafford and the new Board of Directors! We will also reflect on what we have accomplished this year club! Sign-up information will be available soon.
  • We have received emails recently one from Vice President Brenda Hill and Communications co-chair Sherry Woodard. Brenda is requesting impact reports for projects that have been completed, Sherry is requesting your service hours for both club and community. Please know that both of these requests are very important, appreciated and needed to assist me in the year end reports. They play a special part in the music section that you belong to and together all that music makes a beautiful orchestra! Thank you!!
Thank you for all you do!!
