Altrusans are asked to fluff and decorate Christmas trees for Chrome and Carols, a fundraiser for United Way. Volunteers may come and go between the hours of 11:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Mayborn Center in Temple. 

Altrusans are asked to sell raffle tickets at Chrome and Carols, a fundraiser for United Way. This is a very fun event!

Volunteers report to the Mayborn Center at 5:00 pm for instructions, with the doors opening at 5:30. Dinner is included. 

Join us for the 2nd Annual Cookie Exchange! Bring two dozen of your favorite homemade cookies and leave with a beautiful cookie tray. Great night of casual fun and sweet treats.

Hello Fellow Altrusans!

The house has a few more things to be completed and signed off on prior to us coming in and working our magic!

Brenda Hill and I have the privilege of charing this fabulous project for the Porter Family. Thank you for approving this!

We were able to walk the house and property yesterday to get a game plan for helping this house feel like a home prior to the family being presented with the keys on December 10th. We are invited to the welcome home party, and more details will be coming.

Many hands make light work!  We need assistance on Monday, December 7th  to move in all the soft items for the beds and baths as well as stocking the kitchen.  We will also be adding a few decorative items to each space as the budget allows. Please text Brenda or Julie if you plan on coming after 12pm, because, as you are probably aware, we tend to finish projects efficiently - don't want you to waste a trip.

Thank you in advance for supporting such a great project! Please remember that the family has no idea that we are this close to completion.  Please do not share anything on social media until we get the "all-clear" to do so.  They have been approved and waiting for 6 years!

SAVE THE DATE!! The Membership Committee would like to invite you to this year's Christmas Party. Our club has a long tradition of alternating years that we bring spouses. This year is an "Only Altrusans" year. Join us for a fun and casual pajama party. Wear a comfy pair of Christmas pajamas (or regular clothes if you wish) and come for a night of good friends, good food, and a game or two. No need to bring anything just relax and bring yourself to Julie Ruiz's home: 9319 Pritchard Road, Temple, 76502.

$25 per person. Give cash or check to Traci Squarcette or Chelsey Pierce. You may certainly pay the day of the event.
