ASTRA Club of Salado High School

 

ASTRA of Salado High School chartered in 2016 and is the largest ASTRA club in the county. This club provides service to Belton and Temple as well as Salado.

 

Over the past ten years, they have done projects such as Elementary Ice Cream Fridays, book drives for Family Advocacy, volunteering at eh Cattleman’s Ball to support the Salado Education Foundation, Blue Santa, Thanksgiving and Valentines cards for nursing homes, snack bags for weekends for elementary students in need, support for Anti-Bullying Day and many more.  Projects are scheduled during the monthly meetings and throughout the semester.
